His goal is to make training something kids want to come back to. Diego brings energy to his kids classes, keeps them involved, and understands that teaching a child is different from preparing a professional fighter.
At Brandão Fight Lab, kids will get the chance to experience MMA under a coach who believes sport can change lives.

Kids MMA gives young students an introduction to the skills and training that make up mixed martial arts while keeping the experience appropriate for the class in front of Diego.
Diego has experience working with kids and takes pride in finding ways to keep them engaged. He has talked about seeing children enjoy the drills he introduces and hearing positive reactions from their parents afterward.
The bigger goal is to help kids enjoy putting effort into something. They get to move, learn new skills, listen to their coach, work through challenges, and see themselves improve over time.
For children who need a more individually adapted approach to training, Brandão Fight Lab will also offer a separate MMA Adapter Program.

Brandão Fight Lab is opening this fall in Cooper City. Here are answers to common questions from parents interested in the Kids MMA program.
Does my child need martial arts experience?
No previous MMA experience is required to be interested in the program. Kids MMA is designed as a place for young students to learn and develop their skills with me.
Will you teach the kids?
Yes. I plan to work directly with kids at Brandão Fight Lab and have experience teaching children as well as adult and professional athletes.
What will kids learn in MMA class?
The program will introduce kids to MMA training and give them opportunities to practice movement, technique, listening, repetition, and working through new challenges.
Is Kids MMA the same as the MMA Adapter Program?
No. Kids MMA and the MMA Adapter Program are separate programs. The MMA Adapter Program is specifically intended for children who need a more adapted approach to participating in MMA training.
When will Kids MMA classes begin?
